GOOGLE CAMPAIGNS AdWords + Remarketing + Branding
I thought I would post on Google Adwords this month as we have been rather busy managing Google Campaigns for several of our existing and newer clients. For those of you who have not looked closely at Google AdWords it actually has a range of options to advertise your business. These not only include the Text Ads seen when Google searching a topic, but Image Ads that are displayed as "banners" at the top of websites or to your past website visitors for "re-marketing" to them. Here's a summary of just some of the campaign options available to drive visitors to your website.
ADWORDS (Text Ads)
Google AdWords is an online advertising service that places advertising text at the top, bottom, or beside, the list of search results Google displays for a particular search query. Google AdWords is one of the fastest ways to promote your small business and can be up and running in one day.
BRANDING / PROMOTIONAL ADS (Image Ads)
Branding / Promotional ads are also known as Banner Ads, those image ads displayed across the top or down the right hand side on some websites. Often they include some animation. When designed creatively and tastefully, they can be quiet eye-catching and be a good source for leading visitors to your website. Banner ads can also be an effective way to promote your business or increase brand awareness. Another great feature is that we can target your ads to only display to those in your physical area if you are a local business providing services only to your local area.
RE-MARKETING ADS (Image Ads)
Remarketing Ads are also image ads, however with a specific strategy. They “follow" your website visitors over the following days and re-markets to them by displaying your image add when they are on another website, reminding them about you. These are a KEY addition to your Google Campaign as data tells us that a large number of potential customers abandon the shopping cart close to purchase and this process can help recapture them far more easily then starting fresh with a new website visitor.
For more information, you can visit our Google Adwords page or give me a call to discuss how we can customise a campaign to best suit your business.
January we had a bigger sales growth 32% increase from January sales in 2014. February we had approx. 25% increase from sales in Feb 2014. Hard to say what is organic growth and growth from advertising but I do believe it’s helping. — Kacey
